Shooter Game Tips: Dodge with Left-Right Movement and Score More
Raising your score in a shooter is less about shooting and more about surviving. Here are tips you can apply straight away in the Shooter.
1. Watch the bullet streams, not your ship
Staring at your own ship slows your reactions. Watch the columns of bullets flowing down the screen and find the open lane before they arrive.
2. Do not hug the edges
At the edge you can only escape in one direction. When you have breathing room, drift back toward the center so you can react to the next volley either way.
3. Escape routes beat kills
Camping under enemies for score is how you get hit. When the bullets get dense, getting into a safe lane comes first.
4. Do not force near-misses
Grazing bullets earns bonuses, but hunting them every time gets you hit. Only go for the graze when you can already see your way out.
5. Move earlier as the waves climb
Later waves bring more bullets. Rather than reacting with big last-moment moves, start drifting early toward where the next gap will open.
