Alignment commands are powerful, but they are too slow if you open the ribbon every time. Add them to the Quick Access Toolbar and you can align left, center, top, bottom, and distribute spacing with Alt+number combinations.

Before running alignment, decide whether the reference should be the selected objects or the full slide.

Align Left / Align TopUse edge alignment when cards, labels, or icons need a clean boundary. The selected objects align to the edge of the selection or to the slide, depending on the alignment option.

Distribute Horizontally / VerticallySelect at least three objects, align their top or left edge first, then distribute spacing. This creates a polished row or column without manual dragging.
Align to SlideWhen one object is selected, alignment can place it at the exact center or edge of the slide. Check whether 'Align to Slide' or 'Align Selected Objects' is active before running the command.
